This vegan french vanilla creamer is made with raw cashews and lightly sweetened with pure maple syrup. It's the perfect addition to your morning cup of coffee or tea, and the creaminess from the raw cashews is absolutely delicious. The vegan creamer recipe is dairy free and paleo!

Easy to make french vanilla creamer

This creamy cashew coffee creamer is one for the books. I've been looking for something I could whip up quickly that would keep in the refrigerator for more than just a few days.

I love keeping it in my fridge always. I will add it to my tea, too... not just my coffee.

It's very versatile, and I absolutely love the vanilla flavor that is added from the pure vanilla extract.

You could alternatively use french vanilla pods... yum!

There are so many things to love about it:

  • Gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free!
  • Paleo and vegan recipe
  • Can be naturally sweetened to your taste preference
  • It's creamy!
  • You don't need a ton to make your drink delightful

How to make vegan french vanilla creamer

Drain and rinse soaked raw cashews well with cold water.

Add them to a high-speed blender pitcher along with filtered water, salt, maple syrup, and vanilla.

Blend on highest speed setting for about 4 minutes. If this seems like a long time, that's because it is. Keep going!

If you do not have a high-speed blender, this won't be as smooth, but it will still be delicious! You can also strain the milk through a cheesecloth.

When the cashew creamer is all done, it should be warm to the touch from all of the friction while blending.

Store french vanilla creamer in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Recipe Substitutions and Questions

Can something else be used in place of raw cashews?

No. I do not recommend using roasted cashews either. There won't be the same result.

Can I freeze this creamer for later?

I wouldn't recommend that either, no. It will last for up to 7 days in the refrigerator though!

What other sweetener can I use?

You could sweeten with pure honey as well!

What is french vanilla creamer made of?

In this recipe, I was able to achieve traditional French vanilla flavor by simply using pure vanilla extract.

You can use with vanilla pods instead if that tickles your fancy.

The base of this creamer is made with raw cashews, which amount to a really lovely texture.

Otherwise, the creamer is naturally sweetened with maple syrup... yum!
