    Expert Tips & Tricks

    1. Buy simple syrup to save you time. Otherwise, here is a great tutorial on how to quickly make some: simple syrup.
    2. Use fresh watermelon. It takes very little time to blend it up and strain it to make your own juice.
    3. If you've never muddled before, I recommend watching this tutorial.
    4. I highly recommend using Roku gin. It is my absolute favorite, and it is the gin that made me a fan. It's sourced from Japan and is so, so tasty.

Turned out quite sweet and a bit light tasting. I would suggest tasting the watermelon to check for sweetness and back down on or eliminate simple syrup accordingly.

I also added some lime to cut the sweetness and upped the gin to approx 2 oz per serving.4 stars
