This is a nice little go-to when you want a cool treat any time of the day. The maple vanilla cold brew recipe makes a smooth, and just a little elevated, refresher without any fuss.
The maple syrup adds a subtle sweetness that doesn't taste artificial, and the vanilla rounds everything out.

Maple Vanilla Cold Brew Flavor Profile
Smooth, slightly sweet, and mellow. The coffee stays front and center, but with a warm, almost "breakfast-y" finish.
Simple Ingredients
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
- 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-3 tablespoons milk or cream
- Ice

The quantities listed in the ingredients here are really just a guideline. This is your drink - tweak it as you like.
For the milk, I rotate in different options. I've used 2% milk, half-and-half, and French vanilla creamer. This would be just fine also if you used oat milk, almond milk, etc.
Substitutions
- Swap maple syrup for honey (different flavor, still great)
- Use oat milk for a slightly nuttier taste
- Skip vanilla if you want more coffee taste
- Add more vanilla if you want to.
Serving Suggestions
Great first thing in the morning or as an afternoon reset when you don't want something overly sweet. I tend to lean more toward cold brew and iced coffees in the afternoon. But that's just me!

Cold Brew Coffee Tip
Tip
You can use any cold brew you want to. I often brew my own cold brew and keep it in the fridge. Though I use store-bought also. My ingredients picture above includes both a bottle of store-bought and a pitcher of my home brew.

Slightly Sweet Maple Vanilla Cold Brew Coffee
Ingredients
- 8 oz Cold brew coffee
- 2 teaspoon Pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoon Half and Half or milk, cream, etc.
Instructions
- Fill glass with ice (you can do this as the final step if you choose)
- Add cold brew. Stir in syrup and vanilla extract.
- Add milk or creamer and give it a final stir.
Notes
- Use any type of cold brew you wish. Use homemade or store-bought.
- Feel free to play with ingredient amounts.
- Substitute the half-and-half for milk, almond milk, French vanilla creamer, or whatever you enjoy.
- Put the ice in first (like the recipe says), or last (which is what I do so that it's easier to stir).
