Stacks on deck with these easy crispy paleo waffles
It’s no secret I am a woman who adores waffling. Almost every weekend, I am up early heating up the waffle iron, trying to surprise my family with a new waffle flavor.
The reason I love waffles so much is because they are so dang versatile.
You can add chocolate chips, cocoa powder, fruit, nuts, really whatever you’d like into the batter to create something new and exciting with them.
Since creating this recipe for easy paleo waffles just about two years ago, I have had multiple requests from many different family members and friends to remake them… over and over again.
They are without a doubt a huge hit at my house!
How do I reheat these keto waffles?
Be sure to throw these easy crispy paleo waffles into the toaster for a few minutes if you’re reheating them.
The texture will remain firm but get crispy over time.
They are perfect for cutting into quadrants and making sandwiches or stacks out of, too. You can get as creative as you’d like… I won’t stop you!

A paleo waffles recipe that trumps above the rest
These waffles can be made into a sweet or savory dish. You can slather some grass-fed ghee or butter on top and pour on some maple syrup OR use some homemade preserves.
If you want to keep them keto friendly, find yourself some sugar free maple syrup or slather them with some grass-fed butter exclusively. They are absolutely fabulous.
Oh, and fresh fruit is obviously super amazing on top… don’t be shy about making some whipped cream, too!
I’ve actually just eaten these waffles plain as a snack. They don’t need to be a certified breakfast item, trust me.
My greatest advice to you would be to go out and get a waffle iron QUICKLY if you don’t already have one. I am not one to overload my kitchen with specific gadgets like these.
However, it is one of the best investments I have made, and I have so much fun using it almost every single weekend.
Can I use something instead of a low carb sweetener in these waffles?
You should accept my challenge, but I can pretty much guarantee that you will not succeed. They are so dang tasty… and convenient. Like I said, I love keeping a stash in the freezer for easy snacking or a grab & go breakfast option!
I challenge you to not make these more than once. You should accept my challenge, but I can pretty much guarantee that you will not succeed. They are so dang tasty… and convenient.

How to make easy paleo waffles
In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients with a fork or whisk. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs. Combine the rest of the wet ingredients into the same bowl (except for the water.)
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, and stir them together well. At this point, your mixture should be pretty thick! And that's fine! Add in ยผ cup of water at a time and keep stirring. Your mixture will be thick but roll with it for now.
Heat up your waffle iron for a few minutes, then brush / spray on a layer of oil onto both the top and bottom of the griddle.
Pour enough of the mixture into the iron to barely cover the bottom. You do not want to add too much because your iron will begin to overflow!
Depending on the size of your waffle iron, this should make about 6 large waffles. Top with your favorite toppings and serve warm.

These are by far the BEST paleo waffle we have tried! Itโs a keeper for my family!! Only thing I changed was cut back the sweetener to 1/4 cup. My husband raved about them!

Tapioca flour is HIGH in carbs. How can this be Keto?
Monica Stevens Le says
It's about 3-4 servings, so each serving would have about 20 grams of carbs.
Jennie Moore Mills says
20 carbs is a daily allowance for Keto! So I couldn't eat any other carbs during the day if I consume one of these!
Linda says
The nutritional information below the recipe says each serving is 32 carbs. Either way I think it is too much for me. They look lovely though.
