Hi! I'm Matt Fay.
I am a writer, father, and food lover. I am a real food cook and love to create delicious food that supports health and fitness. I'm so happy to welcome you to The Movement Menu.
As an ex-firefighter, lifelong amateur athlete, and current PN Level 1Certified Nutrition Coach, I've always been highly interested in maintaining a diet that supports performance. However, that diet also has to be sustainable for the long haul. My recipes are focused on a "real life" healthy diet, and one that kids will eat.
I know there is a large group of people out there who, while leading busy lives, want to cook healthy meals for the family. They are concerned with what they eat, whether that be for weight loss or general fitness, and want easy, delicious food that supports this. They also want to share that with their friends and family - providing a delicious meal that they can feel good about.
I want to support this group. And that's why I do The Movement Menu.

The Movement Menu was originally created by Monica Le. Many of the amazing photos and recipes were created by Monica. However, she decided it was time to go on to new things in her life - like raising her beautiful family.
The Movement Menu prides itself on creating delicious, healthy and inspired recipes that are easy to make and even easier to eat. The Movement Menu readers have chosen to live healthy and mindful lifestyles. They're on the search for nutrient dense, high protein, healthy, and family-centric recipes and meal plans.
They are a part of a community of like-minded people who keep them feeling vibrant and uplifted every day.
My goal is to serve this community and continue to create high quality content and amazing delicious food.
Beyond just recipes and food, I will be creating more information on nutrition & creating healthy habits.
