Easy Honey Butter Chicken

Here is how to make easy honey butter chicken. It is a perfect quick weeknight meal for the whole family and packed with so much flavor. The dish is gluten free, dairy free, and paleo.

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine arrowroot flour with spices and stir well. Add diced chicken and combine very well until it’s fully coated.
  • Throw chicken into a colander and shake out the excess flour. Set aside.
  • Add 1 1/2 tbsp butter and 1 1/2 tbsp avocado oil into a large pan over medium-high heat. Once oil is heated, add chicken in a single layer and cook until crispy/lightly charred.
  • Cook on the other side until it is the same way. Remove from the pan and turn heat down to medium.
  • Add in the rest of the butter, honey, vinegar, coconut aminos, and salt and pepper, to taste. Keep stirring over a simmer until the sauce thickens up like a thin caramel ~ about 5 mins.
  • Add chicken back into the pan and stir until well coated.
  • Taste for additional salt and pepper and garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, etc. enjoy!
