Frozen Palomas with Watermelon

Here is how to make frozen palomas with watermelon. They are made with frozen watermelon chunks, fresh grapefruit juice, and garnished with mint. This cocktail is perfectly balanced, refreshing, and delicious year round.

Ingredients

  • 4.5 ounces Tequila I recommend Blanco or Silver
  • 3 cups frozen watermelon chunks see notes
  • 1/2 up ice
  • 4 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
  • 2.5 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth throughout.
  • Pour into 2 glasses and garnish with some fresh grapefruit slices and mint. Enjoy right away.

Notes

  • Frozen watermelon chunks: Cut up a watermelon and remove all of the rind. Lay out the chunks in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours or overnight. Remove from the baking sheet and transfer to a gallon Ziploc bag. Store in the freezer for up to 1-2 months.
