These easy grilled blackened shrimp are quick to prep, and a versatile and delicious weeknight meal. Try them inside tacos, on a salad, with rice, alongside grilled vegetables or on their own.
In a medium bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients together and mix until thoroughly combined. Add shrimp and toss to coat well.
Set aside to marinate together for 30 minutes.
Thread the shrimp onto skewers. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium high heat.
Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
Sprinkle with parsley, serve with fresh lemon wedges and serve plain or with your favorite dipping sauce.
On the Stovetop
In a medium bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients together (except for the minced garlic cloves) and mix until thoroughly combined. Add shrimp and toss to coat well.
Set aside to marinate together for 30 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat for 2 minutes. Add avocado oil and let heat through for 1 minute.
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-2.5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until opaque.
Add the garlic cloves, stir, and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and set aside.
Sprinkle with parsley, serve with fresh lemon wedges and serve plain or with your favorite dipping sauce.
