Ingredients
  • The Crust
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 8 Medjool dates 1/2 cup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Chocolate Cream
  • 1 cup coconut cream from a carton or the cream that separates in a can of coconut milk that has been refrigerated overnight
  • 8 Medjool dates 1/2 cup
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate melted
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 cup coconut cream from a carton or the cream that separates in a can of coconut milk that has been refrigerated overnight
  • 8 Medjool dates 1/2 cup
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate melted
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Combine walnuts, pecans, ground cinnamon, sea salt and dates in a food processor until very fine. This shouldn't take longer than 30 seconds.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a glass pie dish or spring-form cake pan, pressing it across the bottom and up the sides
  3. Heat up your coconut cream until warm
  4. Combine the warm coconut cream, melted dark chocolate, coconut oil, remaining Medjool dates and vanilla extract in the food processor (make sure you rinse it out first!)
  5. Pour the chocolate cream filling into the raw pie crust
  6. Let it chill in the refrigerator to set, and top it off with whatever makes you happy!
